foodforfriends is a great way to have fun with friends and family while raising money for SOS Children, the world’s largest orphan charity. The idea is simple, just host an event of your choosing, be it a lunch for friends, a dinner party or coffee morning, and ask your guests to donate to SOS Children.

This is a great excuse to organise an enjoyable get together while raising money for SOS Children. You can host your event at any time during the year, and please let us know how it went; we would really love to hear!

Each recipe links to some relevant background on work SOS Children does in the region the recipe originates from. You could print the page and distribute it to your guests at the event or use it as a placemat.

How to host a foodforfriends event            

1. You can use this website to download invitations, e-invitations, recipe suggestions, SOS Children’s Villages information, sponsorship leaflets, gift aid forms and donation forms.

3. Decide what sort of event to host, set a date and send your inviations.
   
4. Please ask your guests if they are happy to give us their details so that we can keep them informed about SOS Children's news.
